Community guidelines

Our community is built on honesty 😇, kindness ☺️, collaboration , a good sense of humour 😂 and a shared desire to support  one another – professionally and personally. To keep this a safe and uplifting space, we ask all members to follow these guidelines.

🥰 1. Be Kind, Respectful & Supportive

We’re here to help each other – not to judge. Please approach every discussion with empathy, patience and good intentions 🤗. Respect different opinions, backgrounds 🧕 and levels of experience.

🙋 2. No Question is Too Small (or Too Big)

Everyone learns at different speeds 🏎️. Basic questions are just as welcome as technical ones. If you know the answer, share it kindly; if not, feel free to learn alongside others.

🤫 3. Keep It Confidential

Our groups are safe spaces and confidentiality for our clients and for members is important ⚠️. Client details should never 👎 be shared in the group. Personal member details, pictures, screenshots etc. should not be shared outside of the group.

🤑 4. Non-Selling Platform

But please be transparent about who you represent and avoid hard selling. Supportive guidance is great – sales pitches are not 🙅‍♂️.

  • Don’t promote products, services or events without permission
  • Never privately message members for sales activity
  • Genuine collaboration and resource sharing is encouraged 👍, but keep it community-minded

✅ 5. Keep Conversations in the Right Group

Each WhatsApp space has a purpose.
Try to keep discussions relevant to the group you’re posting in. (The Social Therapy group exists for a reason!) Admins may delete and reallocate your messages where appropriate – especially if we think you’ll get a better response in another group.

👍 6. Assume Positive Intent

Text can be tricky – tone doesn’t always carry.
If something seems blunt or unclear, give each other the benefit of the doubt and ask for clarification before reacting.

😍 7. Keep it Therapy style

  • Celebrate wins. 🥳
  • Share learnings. 👩‍🎓
  • Offer encouragement. 🤗

This community works best when members genuinely look out for one another.
Take breaks when you need them. Mute notifications if you feel overwhelmed.
You’re always welcome, but never obligated to keep up with every conversation.
