About the course
We are delighted 🤗 to present MTD Together, an industry leading 6-month 🗓️course where you can prepare for MTD with us, not alone 😱.
Starting in February 2026 join us for monthly live, friendly and interactive preparation sessions helping you focus on what you need to do NOW to prepare yourself and your clients for April 2026 onwards. These sessions will encourage active plan making and action 🚴 with a chance to share your ups 👍 and downs 👎 through the process. We will provide helpful guides and tools ⚒️ to help you prepare, train your staff and notify your clients.
At Accountants Therapy, we believe that building a strong 💪 and supportive community is key to relieving the stress of an ever changing landscape 🏞️ so one of the most important aspects of MTD Together is our WhatsApp community. You will have access to our WhatsApp community to help share those moments of ‘WHAT!? 😧’ ‘How?! 😲’ and ‘Hurray! 🥳’.
Why have we built this?
Since our community started in February 2025 we have seen the immense stress 😰 and confusion 😵💫 that MTD can cause. We have been through the entire range of emotions ourselves – from rage (lots of rage) 😡 to curiosity 🧐 and now to confidence 🤗. It has been an absolute pleasure 🤭 to see many of our members go through this journey too – becoming some of the leading experts in MTD and with confidence levels way beyond industry standard.
It’s extremely rewarding 🏆 to help our peers and see this kind of transformation. We know that there are still a large number of agents burying their heads in the sand 🏖️ for fear and we want to bring you into our fold and help you get to a place where you don’t dread those 3 letters…
Why are you starting in February?
We understand that Self-Assessment season is a difficult 😞 time for our industry… because we are also facing the same. Feedback we have received shows that most are looking to restart their MTD planning in February, so instead of taking more of your time ⏰ when you’re already bursting at the seams 🧵 we want you to sign up knowing that you can park this for a few weeks and receive enough support from February to feel confident before April is upon us.
Curriculum Overview
There will be 1 online session a month 🗓️ which will use the following format:
20-30mins ⏱️ of instruction from our experts followed by 1 hour ⏳ of peer to peer support in small working groups.
Working groups will be guided using a set of course materials which can be worked through and discussed. You will have the opportunity to meet a variety of people 🙋♀️ and learn how they are approaching MTD, what their sticking points have been and how they are making a success of it in their practice.
\Appropriate documents 📑 will be provided to help you, such as example emails 📧 and letters 📄 for direct use with clients.
13th February – MTD Together Part 1: Client segmentation, Software, Initial communications and Pricing.
13th March – MTD Together Part 2: Client communications – Letters of Engagement and… Help! My clients still aren’t listening!
17th April – MTD Together Part 3: -Sign ups & Resource Planning. Get the sign up process right and plan ahead.
22nd May – MTD Together Part 4: review your processes – Keep control.
12th June – MTD Together Part 5: Let’s submit. Get moving with your submissions.
17th July – MTD Together Part 6: What’s left to know? Q&As for anything outstanding.
September – MTD Together Celebrates. In person celebration in Bristol.
Delivery format
Through Zoom webinars and break out rooms so no matter where you are, you can join in.
Join the Course
To join the course all you need to do is become a member.
Members will be able to access any session during the month they have membership (if on monthly membership). Joining details will be provided within our WhatsApp community.
