Accountants Therapy Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Eligibility and Information

1.1 To become and remain a member of the Accountants Therapy community, you must provide the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Job Title
  • Company
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number (for WhatsApp communication)

1.2 You agree to keep this information accurate and up to date. You must notify Accoutants Therapy promptly of any changes in your role, status, or contact details.

2. Membership Options and Payment

2.1 Membership payments are made via PayPal or Stripe.

2.2 There are two subscription options available:

  • Monthly Subscription:
    Paid in advance and valid for the full calendar month following payment.
  • Annual Subscription:
    Paid in advance and valid for the full 12 calendar months following payment.

2.3 Membership payments must be received in full by the due date to maintain active membership status.

2.4 Membership fees are non-refundable at the point of payment.

3. Access and Use of Community

3.1 As a member, you are granted access to:

  • Discussions within the community groups you join
  • Documents produced by Accountants Therapy Ltd
  • Information on upcoming events such as webinars and social gatherings
  • Access to social events
  • Participation in working groups and Zoom meetings
  • Third-party demonstrations, discounts, and events

3.2 Access to certain activities or working groups may be subject to additional fees, which will be communicated in advance.

4. Use of Information Shared Within the Community

4.1 Members may share information, ideas, documents, and other content (“Community Content”) within the community.

4.2 Community Content remains the intellectual property of its creator or original owner.

4.3 You must credit the original creator when using Community Content outside the community.

4.4 Unauthorised commercial use, copying, distribution, or publication of Community Content is prohibited.

4.5 Content provided by Accountants Therapy remains its intellectual property and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

5. Restrictions on Commercial Use

5.1 The community is intended for professional support and networking.

5.2 Members must not use the community for unsolicited commercial promotion.

5.3 Any commercial activity requires prior written approval from Accountants Therapy.

6. Confidentiality and Respect

6.1 Members must respect the confidentiality of information shared.

6.2 Sensitive or confidential information must not be disclosed without consent.

6.3 Members agree to maintain a respectful and professional environment.

7. Termination and Removal

7.1 Accountants Therapy reserves the right to remove or suspend membership for:

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Breach of these Terms and Conditions
  • Inappropriate or harmful conduct

7.2 Cancellation does not entitle members to a refund for any unused membership period.

8. Liability

8.1 Accountants Therapy accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the community.

8.2 Members participate at their own risk.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

9.1 These Terms may be updated from time to time.

9.2 Continued use of the community constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Privacy Policy

By becoming a member, you agree to the Accountants Therapy Privacy Policy

12. Disclaimer and Professional Indemnity

12.1 The community is a peer-support environment and does not provide formal advice.

12.2 Accountants Therapy accepts no liability for decisions made based on shared content.

12.3 Members are responsible for seeking independent professional advice.

12.4 No warranties are made regarding the accuracy or suitability of shared information.

12.5 Members agree to indemnify Accoutants Therapy against claims arising from reliance on shared content.

13. Code of Conduct

13.1 The community is professional, supportive, and inclusive.

13.2 Members agree to:

  • Engage respectfully with others
  • Avoid harassment or discrimination
  • Keep discussions constructive
  • Respect confidentiality
  • Not privately solicit or advertise services without permission

13.3 Breaches may result in removal without refund.

15. Third-Party Services and Content

15.1 Third-party services may be introduced from time to time.

15.2 Accountants Therapy does not endorse or control third-party offerings.

15.3 Use of third-party services is at members’ own risk.

16. Messaging Group Disclaimer

16.1 Messaging platforms may be used to facilitate communication.

16.2 Accountants Therapy is not responsible for member-generated content.

  • Use respectful language
  • Avoid sharing sensitive information
  • Exercise discretion in private messaging

16.3 Misuse may result in removal from messaging channels.

17. Jurisdiction

17.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

17.2 Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

18. Force Majeure

18.1 Accountants Therapy is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control.

  • Acts of God
  • Natural disasters
  • War or civil unrest
  • Technical failures
  • Government actions
  • Public health emergencies

18.2 Services will resume as soon as reasonably practicable.
